57 Inch 6 Channel P-51 Mustang by NitroPlanes

A new plane just fell into my lap (kind of), the Airfield P-51 Mustang 1450mm! I was recently browsing the classifieds on RCGroups.com and happened across a member selling this P51. Most of the time planes this size are only sold for local pick up on the forums, and what are the chances that it would actually be near me, but this one just happened to be only a few miles away!

The plane has only been flown a handful of times and is in almost like-new condition. I was able to get a good deal on it, so I've added another P-51 to my collection! I already have a 1200mm Dynam P-51, but this one is made by Airfield and is a little larger and much more scale looking with flaps and a 4 bladed propeller. I crashed my A1-Skyraider not too long ago, and I haven't had time to repair it just yet, so I've been itching for another big warbird. I plan to take this Mustang on its maiden flight soon, and I'll be sure to follow up with video and pictures!

Update: I took the P-51 for a maiden flight yesterday and it flew beautifully! Very responsive and fun to fly, looks great in the sky! Be sure to check out the video and photos below!
